The Non-Chalcedonian Schism

Bishops parting ways at the non-Chalcedonian schism beneath one church dome.
What happened here.
Church History

Rejecting Chalcedon’s “in two natures,” the non-Chalcedonians confess “one incarnate nature of God the Word.” They are properly Miaphysite — not Eutychian “Monophysite” — and explicitly anathematize Eutyches. This is an earlier and distinct break from the later schism with Rome.
